Where the Window Opens

Hi there, I’m Iva, the hands and heart behind Mandalime.

Everything you see here is made with care, intention, and a deep love for creating. A decade in Norway taught me to honor simplicity and the quiet rhythms of nature. Along the way, from teaching to event coordination to office management, I learned what drains me, and discovered what fuels me: a life rooted in presence, creativity, and making things with soul. That spark became Mandalime.

When life tested my limits, creativity became my anchor. Whether painting mandalas, hand-lettering invitations, baking imperfect loaves, or crafting soap, these quiet acts of making helped me slow down, heal, and reconnect. Each one asked for my presence and offered something beautiful in return. Soap making, in particular, has become a steady practice and it reminds me that there is strength in slowing down and meaning in simple, intentional work.

Each Mandalime creation begins with four quiet steps: a mindful pause, trusting intuition, patient craftsmanship, and wholehearted care. These steps guide not just the process, but the feeling behind it. It invites you to slow down and reconnect with what matters.

Pause. Take a breath. Step out of the daily rush. This moment of stillness is where presence begins.

Listen. Let your inner voice shape each choice and let your instincts shape every detail.

Wait. Embrace slow timing and know that great things unfold in their own season.

Create. Craft with care, with feeling, and with presence. Transform simple materials into soulful objects.

Pause. Listen. Wait. Create.
